Altar Servers

​Liturgy can be complicated; altar servers make sure everything runs smoothly so God’s people can focus on worship.

The primary responsibility of altar servers is to assist the priest at Mass on weekends, but servers also assist on some holy days, holidays, as well as at weddings and funerals.  Volunteering to serve makes it easier for everyone to concentrate on the Mass and allows the server to have a deeper appreciation for what happens at Sunday worship. ​
