Saint Vincent De Paul Bundle Days

The Saint Pascal Conference of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul will conduct their Fall Bundle Days collection of clean, usable clothing, and usable kitchenware and utensils on Saturday, September 17 and Sunday,
​September 18.   They can also use adult and infant bedding such as sheets and blankets. If possible, please place everything in plastic bags, boxes, or on clothes hangers.  Books and computer equipment (with the exception of monitors) will also be accepted.  NOTE: Sorry, but electrical items, infant cribs, car seats, toys, stuffed animals, luggage, office furniture or magazines cannot be accepted.  If you have questions, please leave a message at the Saint Pascal parish office (773-725-7641). 

Please bring your Bundle Days donations to the Melvina Street parking lot (across the street from Saint Pascal Church on Irving Park) during these hours:  Saturday, September 17 - 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and  4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and Sunday, September 18 -  8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

Altar Servers

All young men and women who already participate in the ministry of altar servers and those who would like to join this important ministry are invited to participate in three days of formation to help continue improving as servants.
Formation sessions will take place at Saint Bartholomew on the following  Sundays:  September 11, 18, and 25, 2022, and at Saint Pascal from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on the following Tuesdays:  October 4, 11 and 18, 2022.  Please plan to join us.  If you have questions regarding the workshops, please contact  Maria Arrez contact maria arrez at  marrez@archchicago.org.

Children's Liturgy of the Word

We are looking for more people, young and adult, who would like to volunteer to help with the Children’s Liturgy of the Word on Sundays at the 10:00 AM Mass at Saint Pascal, and the 1:00 PM Mass at Saint Bartholomew.  If you think that you can HELP us, please contact maria arrez at marrez@archchicago.org.

Eucharistic Ministers

For all who already serve as Eucharistic Ministers at Mass, and for all who would like to serve, we invite you to participate in a formation workshop to explore the role of Eucharistic Ministers as servants of the Parish and the community.   Save the dates on your calendar and join us on Wednesday: October 5, 12, and 19, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, in St. Pascal Church. Workshops will be conducted in English. Please consider participating. If you have questions regarding the workshops, please contact Maria Arrez at marrez@archchicago.org.

Church Hours

Saint Pascal Church temporarily will be locked weekdays at 10 AM. On Thursdays, the church will reopen about 5:30 PM in preparation for Benediction at 6:30 P . Again, we hope this is temporary. We do need volunteers to sit with the Blessed Sacrament, which cannot be exposed unattended. The more volunteers, the longer the church can be open for Adoration. If interested in volunteering to sit with the Blessed Sacrament for Adoration, please call the Saint Pascal office at 773-725-7641.

Our Lady of Victory Bus Service

Bus service is provided every Sunday from the OLV campus to Saint Bartholomew Church for the 10:00 AM Mass.  The bus departs from the OLV parking lot at 9:30 AM and returns at 11:30 AM.   Pick up and drop off at Saint Bartholomew is located in the alley north of the church by the door with access to the elevator.

Saint Vincent De Paul Food Collection

During the first weekend of each month, the Saint Vincent de Paul Society will collect non-perishable food for its pantry.  Items may be placed in the blue barrel outside the Saint Pascal church building at the Dakin Street exit for those not attending worship in person. Items may be placed in the blue barrel inside the Saint Pascal Church building at the Dakin Street exit during that time, or any time that the church is open.
